Social Services
Social Services is dedicated to providing
those services that make life easier and more manageable. We also provide
many programs for the elders in our communities, we feel that it is
through these individuals that a connection to the past can be made here in the
present.
We employ a
staff
of highly motivated individuals who strive to help the public that they
serve in any way possible. Social Services is funded by
grants that are provided from many sources.
Social Services provides the following services to the

Social Services also provides legal
assistance. These programs are listed below
Regional Court – Beneficiaries can utilize the Tribal Court for
domestic and civil issues. You would need to complete a Petition to Utilize
Tribal Court and the Court Services Specialist would set up your court hearing
for you. These forms and additional information is available from your Court
Services Specialist. The Court Services Specialist can also assist with Power of
Attorney information and also provides Notary Public services.
Rural Legal Advocate – Beneficiaries
can utilize this service to assist them through the maze of the State Court
System. The Rural Legal Advocate can assist you with filling out your State
court forms, calling your attorneys, attending court with you and completing the
Violent Crimes Compensation packet.
Angel Craig, Court Services Specialist coordinates the legal
assistance
programs. She can be contacted Monday through Friday 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM &
1:00 PM – 4:30 PM at Copper River Native Association, P.O. Box H, Copper Center,
